On 22nd February 2026, the Spring Hope Cancer Foundation, New Delhi, in collaboration with NICE Future Life Educational Programme for Development Society and Bridging Journeys, organized an Awareness Campaign Against Cervical Cancer in Rama Vihar, Sector-39, Rohini, Delhi. The program brought together over 40 women and adolescent girls from the local community, creating a vibrant and interactive space for dialogue on women’s health.
The sessions were designed to be engaging and participatory, with speakers encouraging questions and discussions. They spoke not only about cervical cancer as a disease but also about preventive measures, the importance of timely screening, and when to consult a doctor without delay.
One of the speakers also shared a personal story of supporting a close relative who was affected with cancer, which deeply moved the audience and inspired participants to come forward with their own health-related questions. This openness marked a significant step toward breaking stigma and fostering trust within the community.
